Conventional System Design
Conventional septic systems require a professional design from a licensed Installer, R.S. or P.E. Our team can prepare your design and give you the resources and knowledge that you need to complete the permit application.
What is involved in an conventional design?
The Texas Comission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requires that a On-Site Sewage Facility have a site-specific design for each permitted system. A site evaluation will need to be obtained first to determine the soil type at the property. Soil type will determine the required amount of lines for the conventional system. If there is too much clay in the soil, an alternative system such as an aerobic system will be required. Square footage of the residence and number of bedrooms will need to be known so that the system can be sized accordingly. Other factors, such as the presence of adjacent water wells and bodies of water will need to be known. Our team will prepare your design and often can provide you with the other documents required by your permitting authority so that a permit can be applied for quickly and easily.
